YH-ELIV-2312 integrated PV module IV & EL tester

The core advantage of this customized solution is the integrated design of EL defect detection and IV electrical performance testing. Traditional production lines usually adopt separate IV testers and EL detectors, leading to higher equipment investment and footprint costs, unsynchronized data, complicated workflows and lower throughput. Optimized with an integrated architecture, the YH-ELIV-2312 performs electrical calibration and latent internal defect inspection simultaneously on one single device, perfectly catering to high-frequency quality control in mass production.

Supported by highly coordinated software and hardware, the dual-function system achieves improved accuracy and efficiency. It adopts four-wire measurement and a 16-bit four-channel high-speed synchronous acquisition card with 8,000 sampling points, precisely testing key parameters including Isc, Voc, Pmax, fill factor and conversion efficiency. The overall measurement error and inconsistency are controlled within ±0.5%, with 1mV voltage resolution and 1mA current resolution, ensuring reliable testing precision. The device supports 5-second rapid cycle testing and stable 24-hour continuous operation, fully matching the high-volume rhythm of overseas production lines.

I-V Curve Imaging

The light source system complies with strict international standards. Equipped with imported pulsed xenon lamps, it meets IEC60904-9 and AM1.5G spectral specifications. The standard irradiance reaches 1000W/m² with an adjustable range of 700–1200W/m², while both irradiance uniformity and stability are within ±2%. The pulse duration ranges from 10–30ms, and the xenon lamp lifespan exceeds 100,000 flashes, delivering outstanding long-term stability and lower operational costs. Unified central control precisely synchronizes lighting, data acquisition and imaging processes, eliminating data mismatch and process inconsistency commonly seen in discrete testing systems.

Clear EL Imaging

For defect inspection, the system is equipped with a 24-megapixel infrared camera and offers an effective testing area of 2300×1200mm, compatible with mainstream large-size PV modules. With adjustable imaging time of 100–700ms, it accurately identifies micro-cracks as fine as 0.03mm, as well as hidden flaws such as broken grids and cold solder joints before and after lamination for both monocrystalline and polycrystalline modules. Supported by a 0–60V and 0–20A adjustable regulated power supply, the equipment operates stably within a wide temperature range of -10℃ to 40℃, adapting to complex factory environments overseas.

The intelligent central control system automatically coordinates the entire workflow of lighting, data collection and imaging, enabling seamless collaboration between IV and EL testing. Built-in irradiance and temperature compensation algorithms automatically correct environmental deviations and guarantee data accuracy. Supporting bilingual English–Chinese interfaces, voice broadcast and barcode scanning, the system auto-generates I-V and P-V curves and supports data storage and export, forming a one-stop closed loop for testing, analysis and full data traceability.
